The New York World's Fair of 1939 and 1940

Expo devoted to the theme of the "World of Tomorrow."

In 1939, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are assigned to report on the opening of the World's Fair by Daily Star editor George Taylor. After a train ride of several hours from Metropolis to the Fair's Flushing Meadows, NY site, the reporters confront criminal Nick Stone and Superman subsequently puts Stone behind bars (NYWF No. 1: "Superman at the World's Fair").

The following year, Kent and Lane return to the fair and help Superman apprehend the nefarious Blackie Sarto (NYWF No. 2, 1940).
