Velvet O'Mara
An unscrupulous villainess and ally of the Anti-Superman Gang who steals Lana Lang's Insect Queen ring and transforms into ultra-powerful Kryptonian insects in order to challenge Superman. Lois Lane, who had been using Lana's ring to perform heroic feats as the new Insect Queen, and Lana aid the Man of Tomorrow by wresting the "bio-ring" from O'Mara's possession (SGLL No. 69/1, Oct 1966: "Beware of the Bug-Belle!").
