Action Comics No. 351 by Curt Swan

Zha-Vam is one of most powerful opponents that Superman ever faced. The Oracle of Delphi shows the mighty gods Zeus, Hercules, Achilles, Vulcan, Apollo, and Mercury that due to Superman's super-feats the gods would be forgotten in the far future and the people of Earth would worship Superman instead. As a result of this vision, the gods decide to create a mighty and powerful titan named Zha-Vam to be their champion to defeat and humiliate Superman. Zha-Vam's name is made from the first letters of the six Olympian gods and heroes who give him their powers: Zeus, Hercules, Achilles, Vulcan, Apollo, and Mercury. They also give him a magic belt with which he could channel their powers and other immortals by pressing the letter of their name on the belt. They provide him with a Kryptonite sock to protect his "Achilles heel." He fights Superman and wins, as all of Superman's powers are not enough to defeat Zha-Vam. However, the Man of Steel soon finds out the source of Zha-Vam's powers and, in order to even the odds, teams-up with the gods Prometheus, Pluto, Neptune, and the titan Atlas, who give Superman a magic belt of his own to use against Zha-Vam, allowing Superman to finally defeat Zha-Vam (Act No. 351, Jun 1967: "Zha-Vam the Invincible!"; Act No. 352, Jul 1967: "The Victory of Zha-Vam!"; Act No. 353, Aug 1967: "The Battle of the Gods!").
