"Uncle" Dudley is Mary Batson's supposed uncle (first appearance: Wow Comics No. 18, Oct 1943: "Mary Marvel Meets Her Uncle Marvel"). He has no super-powers to speak of, nevertheless he is part of the Marvel Family along with Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel, Jr., Mary Marvel, and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, who are happy to humor his pretense.
