The Outsiders
Following his split from the Justice League of America over the team's refusal to rescue his kidnapped friend Lucius Fox from the European nation of Markovia, Batman forms a new team of superheroes (first appearance: The Brave and the Bold No. 200, Jul 1983). The Outsiders are:
- Batman
- Black Lightning
- Geo-Force
- Halo
- Katana
- Metamorpho
In July 1985, Batman and the Outsiders are aided by Superman in defeating—and returning to normal—Alfred Pennyworth who has taken up villainous activities as the Outsider (DCCP No. 83: "Shadow of the Outsider").
