The Atoman of Earth-2
A Kryptonite-powered Nazi super-agent, in 1945, fought Superman. Decades later, the Atoman was able to cross the dimensional barriers that separated Earth-2 from Earth-1, and he engaged in battle with the Earth-1 versions of Superman and Batman. During his transition between Earths, the Atoman's powers were altered, and he now possessed super-strength, invulnerability, and the power of flight, which made him more of a physical match for the Earth-1 Man of Steel. The "World's Finest Duo" of Earth-1 were able to defeat the Atoman with the assistance of the Earth-2 Superman and Robin (WF No. 271, Sep 1981: "The Secret Origins of the Superman-Batman Teams!").
