KANDOR was the capital city of KRYPTON.
The entire city and all it's occupants, together with some of the surrounding land and animals were reduced in size and placed in a bottle by BRAINIAC. This was first revealed in Action Comics 242 from 1958.
As Krypton exploded shortly after Supermans birth, this must have occurred prior to 1938.
Can anyone tell me, in which story we first learn about KRYPTONOPOLIS being the capital city of KRYPTON?
