Sauncha
An alien seaweed derived from spores that only grows in one spot on the ocean floor. Ingestion of the plant makes earthlings like Captain Strong super-powerful, a fact that interests an unscrupulous health food company that seeks to exploit it by sending a Superman look-alike to convince Strong to reveal its location. Sauncha proves to have addictive properties (Act No. 421, Feb 1973: "The Fantastic Feats of Captain Strong").
