Saturn Woman, Cosmic Man, and Lightning Man traveled back in time to present day Metropolis to visit their good friend and fellow Legion member Superboy, now grown up and known as Superman. The Legionnaires aided the Man of Steel in his battle against the combined threat of Lex Luthor and the Legion of Super-Villains.
