Roger Carson
The pampered playboy son of Matt Carson, a wealthy old sea captain and seasoned adventurer who passes away in 1939 after stipulating that Roger may inherit his sizable fortune only if he first travels around the world in a small sailing ship and successfully duplicates his own adventure-filled career. With some help from Superman, Roger ultimately wins his right to his father's bequest, then promptly gives it all to charity with the manly announcement that "I’m going out to make my own fortune...like father did!"
