A Chinese youngster in Metropolis 's Chinatown, forbidden by his grandather to attend Chinese New Year festivities until he repays a $3.00 debt to a friend, who earns the money he needs in the nick of time when Clark Kent graciously gives him an odd job to do at the Daily Planet. "Golly..." beams a grateful Richard, "you're just as good as Superman, Mr. Kent!" (S No. 54/2, Sep/Oct 1948: "The Secret of the Chines Dragon!").
