An alien from the planet Nferino who charms Lois Lane for a time though she suspects he is the devil. When Superman looks in on the matter, a bullet accidentally strikes Lois and she seemingly dies. Satdev possesses horns, a tail, and cloven hooves and gives Lois a potion that makes her appear the same and takes her to his homeworld to wed. Superman, believing her dead, gives her a memorial ring with a declaration of his affection engraved on it.
