A dedicated astronomer and author of a book called The Planet Krypton. In July-August 1952 Buttons Harris and a henchman kidnap Professor Enders and steal the matter- radio so that they can use the fabulous transmitter for crime—principally by allowing client gangs to commit crimes in [[Metropolis]] and then make instantaneous matter-radio getaways to a distant city—but [[Superman]] apprehends Harris and his cohorts and rescues Professor Enders from their clutches (5 No. 77/1: “The Man Who Went to Krypton!”).
