Professor Vining
The inventor of an ingenius device which "can be tuned to the personal wavelength of any individual --and detect the presence of that individual a mile away!" Professor Vining's invention is stolen by the Toyman in Winter 1945 (WF No. 20: "The Toyman: Super-Scientist!").
