Professor Kryon
Evil scientist from the planet Katraz of the 40th century who convinces Lois Lane that she is destined to marry Superman only to have the marriage terminated by their violent deaths in an airplane accident.
Kryon secretly conceals the fact that the Man of Steel supposedly loses his abilities to Gold Kryptonite, but the plan goes awry when Superman averts disaster by taking a formula that makes him immune to the effects of the Kryptonite. The short-lived marriage between Superman and Lois is then quickly annulled (SGLL No. 82/1, Apr 1968: "The Tragic Fate of the Superman Sweethearts!").
