Jimmy Olsen meets a youth called Tom Baker, who appears to gain super-powers from a scientific accident and becomes the partner of Superman. Later it is revealed that he is really Dik-Rey an evil Kandorian from the bottle city of Kandor, where after his plot is discovered, he is returned to never to be heard from again (SPJO No. 45/1, Jun 1960: "Tom Baker, Power Lad!").
