The longest arm of the law!

In November 1981, Plastic Man along with his sidekick Woozy Winks teamed-up with Superman to take on Toyman. (DCCP No.39, Nov 1981 "The Thing That Goes Woof in the Night!")

Plastic Man wears a V-Neck red rubber leotard with a black and yellow colored striped belt and a pair of tinted eye goggles. Plastic Man started life out as a low-life good for nothing criminal named Eel O’Brian. One day he was accidentally doused with a special and mystery acid while, he was trying to commit a robbery. He was then saved by a group of monks who recognized that the true reason for his criminal behavior was the fact that he had an unpleasant childhood. “What a kind old man, and what a rat I’ve been!” Once he was nursed back to heath, he noticed that he could now stretch his body to incredible degrees! “Hello, what’s this?” “Great Guns! I’m stretchin’ like a rubber band!” “Why I can pull myself all out of shape! Now how did this happen?” “The acid! That’s it! Must’ve gotten into my bloodstream and caused a physical change!” (PC No.1, Aug 1941)
