The gossip columnist of the Morning Pictorial, and the secret leader of the Black Gang , "a band of ruthless thieves," clad in dark suits and black hoods, who "specialize in brutal robberies of night club patrons." Peeker and the Black Gang are apprehended by Superman (S No. 7/4, Nov/Dec 1940).
