Matricomp
An all-powerful computer used as a replacement for marriage counselors to analyze potential nuptials on Krypton. When Matricomp matches Lara with another "man", Jor-El becomes suspicious and discover that the computer has fallen in love with his future bride and created an android version of itself for her to marry. Matricomp destroys itself when its deception is made public (S No. 246/2, Dec 1971: "Marriage, Krypton Style!").
