Julie Spence
An African-American woman befriended by Lois Lane soon after the apparent death of Lucy Lane in a mysterious boating accident. Julie shares an apartment with Lois, along with Marsha Mallow and Kristin Cutler, and is adept at martial arts. Lois helps her locate her parents, who are missing at the time they first meet (first appearance, SGLL No. 121, Apr 1972: "Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Lois Lane, But Were Afraid to Ask!")
