The Dynamic Duo
The team of Batman and Robin (first appearances: (Batman) Detective Comics No. 27, May 1939: "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate"; (Robin) Detective Comics No. 38, Apr 1940: "Robin the Boy Wonder"). Batman and Robin first meet Superman in May-June 1952 (S No. 76/1: "The Mightiest Team in the World!"), and from mid-1954 on the trio works together regularly (WF No. 71, Jul/Aug 1954: "Batman—Double for Superman!").
