Count Dragorin

The vampiric lord of the planet Transilvane.

Dragorin.jpg

A creation of the mad scientist Dabney Donovan, Count Dragorin journeys to Earth with the werewolf Lupek to prevent the destruction of his homeworld. In his pursuit of Donovan, the Count runs afoul of Jimmy Olsen and Superman who pursue him back to Transilvane, in the process discovering the planet's secret and preventing its destruction.

Dragorin uses the power of his evil eye to alter the body chemistry of humans in order to bend them to his will or temporarily stun them (SPJO No. 142, Oct 1971: "The Man from Transilvane!").
