Carnox
An alien who arrives on Earth one million years in the past and takes on the appearance of a giant caveman, before placing himself in suspended animation. Carnox is revived and threatens Captain Strong and his girlfriend Olivia Tallow, as well as Superman himself. With the help of S.T.A.R. Labs, the Metropolis Marvel finally determines that Carnox is actually trying to locate the same alien seaweed (Sauncha) that Strong uses for strength. However in his case, the strange plant allows Carnox to return to his normal form. Superman takes Carnox back to the past where he is able to retrieve his space vessel (Act No. 439/1, Sep 1974: "Too Big to Live!").
