Burt Belker
A college archaeology student and the assistant to Professor Lewis Lang who accompanies Lang on his expedition to the Valley of Ur. It is on this same expedition that Lang and Belker unearth an ancient metal helmet that is inhabited by an unnamed, disembodied Lord of Chaos who possesses Burt after being freed from his imprisonment within the helmet, and transforms the young archaeologist into the villain Doctor Chaos. Superboy confronts him and, after a series of battles, is able to remove the helmet from Belker and jettison it into space, returning young Burt to normal (NSB No. 25, Jan 1982: "The Man Who Kidnapped Nature").
