The secret identity of Batgirl (first appearance: Detective Comics No. 359, Jan 1967: "The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!"). As Batgirl, Barbara is a valued ally of Batman and Robin, the Dynamic Duo. Barbara Gordon is also the daughter of Gotham City Police Commissioner James W. Gordon, and she is a close friend of Supergirl.
