The [[Earth-2]] counterpart of [[Lex Luthor]] (SF No. 202/2, Jul/Aug 1980: "The Man Who Discovered Kryptonite"). Unlike his [[Earth-1]] doppleganger, this Luthor did not meet his [[Kryptonian]] archnemesis, the [[Superman of Earth-2]], until they were both adults (Act No. 23, Apr 1940). Also unlike the Earth-1 Luthor, Alexei appears to never have lost his full head of red hair. In 1982, the both of these Luthors work as a team with the villainous [[Earth-3]] [[Superman]] counterpart known as [[Ultraman of Earth-3|Ultraman]] to conquer Earth-3.
