The Adult Legion of Super-Heroes
The Legion of Super-Heroes when their teenaged members grow up. Due to the complexities of time travel, the adult heroes often visit the adult Superman's time while the teenage Legion of Super-Heroes usually confine their activities to within Superboy's era and their own years of the 30th Century. Two notable later additions to the group include heroic descendants of Lex Luthor and Mr. Mxyzptlk.
The adult Legionnaires often battle their evil counterparts, the adult Legion of Super-Villains—Lightning Lord (older brother of Lightning Lad and Lightning Lass), Cosmic King and Saturn Queen, among others (S No. 147/3, Aug 1961: "The Legion of Super-Villains!"; and others).
