Rija and Kond
Two disembodied intellects who lived on an alien world deep in the universe's ancient past. Rija decides to inhabit the body of a beautiful "space siren" and live on the planet's surface.
Blown into the past by an exploding super nova, Superman is asked by Kond (the other intellect and her lover) to aid her. Superman must fight off a monster conjured by Rija's mind, counteract the love spell of her "starry eyes" and help the entities find resolution. Kond takes on the form of Superman and decides to live as a humanoid with Rija.
In gratitude for his help, Kond gives Superman four potions that will solve Earth's problems of disease, pollution, crime, and starvation. However, when Superman breaks the time barrier to return to the modern era, the potions are accidentally turned to useless powders. (S No. 243/1, Oct 1971: "The Starry-Eyed Siren of Space!")
