Queen Bee
The Queen Bee is a long-time enemy of the Justice League of America (first appearance, Justice League of America No. 23, Nov 1963: Drones of the Queen Bee!"). Later, forming her own group of powerful criminals (including principle foes of many of the JLA's heroes), she captures the League and forces Superman to use a clever ruse to free them (Act No. 443, Jan 1975: "At Last...Clark Kent - Superhero!").
She returns to challenge Superman, this time scheming with the Planeteer to siphon the entire sum of the energy from the earth's magnetic field (Act No. 562, Dec 1984: Their Magnetic Majesties, King Alexander and Queen Bee!").
